Worship

On a typical Sunday at New Leaf Church, you will find people trying to help each other encounter and worship God in new and old ways, through music, teaching, meditation, and liturgy.

Although you might hear some familiar songs at New Leaf,  we try to stretch ourselves to worship with diverse styles, since God transcends all culture and history. We hope that at New Leaf Church, you will be able to use your unique gifts to make the reality of God more apparent through creative worship. So whether your talents are in writing, speaking, art, poetry, dance, music, or anything else, you are invited to come and share them.

We glorify God when we express ourselves honestly in God’s presence. So we express ourselves to God in art and music, like the Psalms in the scriptures do: to praise, to thank, to ask for what we need, to confess, to complain, to lament; to be quiet and listen and be joyful and celebrate.
